About Caroline:
Caroline has loved windsurfing since she first tried it on Hayling at the age of 10, on her mum's board with tie on boom! Amazingly the experiences didn't put her off but it took a while to learn properly - and it was while in the Army during her gap year that Caroline made the jump from occasional beginner and got her first taste of racing and trained as a Level 3 instructor.
Caroline has taught windsurfing in Turkey, Greece and spent a year in Moon Beach, in Egypt, introducing Yoga to the place. Caroline has always had a passion for fitness and being generally as active as possible, but manages to balance the intense stuff with a daily yoga practice, and is getting into some meditation too, which makes such a huge difference in life and on the water!
Caroline dabbled in Freewave competition, and entered the 2002 Ireland Wave Grand Prix, where she got to sail alongside the likes of The Morenos & Fransico Goya, blaming star-struckness for those wipeouts! She also came 3rd in the Tiree Wave Classic and competed at the London Boat Show - entering events while working a 'proper' job in London. Now Caroline runs her own business it's harder to make time to get to events, crazily (the new boss is worse than the Management Consultants were!) but is tempted to get involved again, thanks to Amy and FLOW! Just want to nail those forwards first!
Caroline trains one to one Personal Training clients at home in Southampton, in a converted garage or the garden, and runs an outdoor bootcamp, Fit Body Fix, using bodyweight workouts and nutrition coaching to get the people of Southampton fitter, slimmer, healthier and happier! She is also a Reiki 2 practitioner & Yoga teacher, while not regularly teaching Yoga classes her training approach incorporates a lot of yoga moves and principles.
Caroline's goal is to get as many people out there in the elements, getting active and healthy!
