Uk competition scene kicks off in style. Who's getting involved?
Easter weekend saw the annual round hayling island race take place, light winds but glorious sunshine kicked the season off in style for this, and the BSA racing that followed. Next weekend, sees the first freestyle event in the UK tour. Set at West Kirby, a renownded freestyle and speed location, the competitors are already buzzing and searching the forecasts. It is then only a few short weeks until the BWA events, in Wales and Ireland will also be taking place. More info to follow shortly. All the info on all the UK events is available at http://ukwindsurfing.com/events/ or http://www.britishwavesailingassociation.com/ But the big question is what ladies are getting involved? Many of us know from last year how much fun events can be, we're in general a lot less competitive, and a lot more supportive than the men! With great numbers too at year, we really hope to follow this up with a successful 2012 season. So let us know if you can, can't or are tempted to come, and we will be sharing a lot more event info with you in the near future. Comment below, drop me an email, or join the Facebook discussion, which ever you like, just get involved! Amy
