RSX Europeans

RSX UNDER 21 PODIUM

Last week Claudia Carney, Noelle Finch and myself competed in the Senior Europeans in Funchal, Madeira. The conditions in Funchal were prodominatly 12-17knots but we had a couple of light wind races but the wind was shifty and gusty which made racing difficult as everything could change right until the last moment! We had a couple of days of no racing including the medal race day as the wind was shifting 180 degrees making it impossible to lay a course.  Overall the British Girls had a good regatta, Noelle finished  , Claudia   and I finished 6th overall and first Under 21.  This weekend we all race in a National Ranker in Weymouth and then fly back out to Spain ahead of the world championships which start in a weeks time.  [img_assist|nid=1455|title=Under 21 European Podium|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=640|height=426] [img_assist|nid=1454|title=Start Line|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=182|height=121]
